Playing the piano has been my favorite activity for the past several years. My recent scare with a broken finger has given me a deeper appreciation of the value of a musicians hands. Having to have a plate and screws inserted to keep my finger in place has caused me to really think deeply on which instrument I want to focus on going forward. Many of the songs I write start with the piano and include a strong piano presence in the final product.
